Why do I recommend alternatives for teething babies?

Tylenol is sometimes helpful but overuse can actually harm the body. We have an antioxidant in our body called Glutathione (produced in our liver) that helps us detoxify our bodies. We need this antioxidant to protect us from toxins we come in contact with daily! Glutathione is involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building + repair, making chemicals + proteins needed in the body, & for the immune system.Tylenol depletes this antioxidant and can make it harder for our bodies to heal.

-Homeopathy: I highly recommend Camilia drops from Boiron. Perfect for babies and help with the symptoms of teething. We sell them at our office.

-Teething necklaces: the amber in these necklaces have pain relieving properties that are perfect for littles. Plus, they’re super cute! We also have these at our office!

-Frozen snacks: popsicles, frozen washcloths, cold celery sticks, frozen fruit are all good ways of helping with the teething pain.

-Skin to skin: if your baby is feverish, skin to skin with mommas are a great way to bring a fever down and regulate temperature.

-Essential Oils: Copaiba or Clove on the gums is a wonderful remedy for littles!
