Who: Are you planning to give birth at home or a birth center? This class is designed with you in mind.

What: Only about 2% of births happen out of the hospital. This puts you in a unique position and requires specific information to prepare for your birth. Our Home & Birth Center class is 5 sessions that is perfect for those planning an out-of-hospital birth. This class dives right in starting with stages of labor and giving you tools for your natural birth. We discuss natural ways of handling pain, the importance of relaxation as the key to an unmedicated birth, and how your partner can make a difference in your birth experience. We also discuss transfer, epidurals, and cesarean sections in the event that medical assistance becomes necessary. This class will build knowledge and confidence for you and your partner to have an amazing home or birth center birth! Prepare for your out-of-hospital birth while lowering your chances of needing interventions.

This class is 5 weeks long, meeting once a week virtually. Weekly check-in’s last approx. 60 minutes. You will receive a beautiful and detailed workbook.

What is a Hybrid Class?

Birth boot camp came up with this model of classes during 2020. Students watch the online, pre-recorded birth boot camp classes and then we “meet” virtually once a week to review class materials and questions. This provides flexibility for students that need an online class, but want the support and personal interaction with a certified instructor. You will receive a “class in a bag” with your manual and important class materials. You will also have a special group message with all class participants and instructor.
